Hydro Manitoba has issued payments to both Cross Lake and Split Lake because of higher than average water levels. The payments equaled to $4,500,000 for Cross Lake and $3,400,000 for Split Lake. Cross Lake residents will be receiving $200 each while residents of Split Lake will get $1,000 each.
