A 28-year old resident of Split Lake is dead in what is being called a suspected homicide. Elijah Alex Garson was transported to the nursing station around 12-noon on Sunday after succumbing to injuries received during an assault. Two males have been arrested 18-year old Drake Cooke and a 17-year old have both been charged with second degree homicide, both are residents of Split Lake.
